The Colpasso Story
Colpasso was born from a simple observation that changed everything. Over the past decade of living in the Hautes-Pyrénées, I've watched countless cyclists arrive in the region, eager to experience its legendary climbs and scenic routes. However, I noticed something troubling: many were riding on major roads during peak holiday traffic, battling with cars and missing out on the quieter, more beautiful alternatives that would take them to the same destinations.
These cyclists had traveled hundreds or thousands of miles to experience the Pyrenees, but without local knowledge, they were stuck on busy routes that didn't showcase the region's true beauty. There were quieter roads, hidden gems, and perfectly planned routes that would give them a much better experience—they just didn't know about them.
This realization sparked the Colpasso project. We recognized a clear need: cyclists needed access to better routes, carefully curated by people who know these mountains intimately. Routes that avoid heavy traffic, showcase the region's natural beauty, and provide the authentic Pyrenees cycling experience that riders come here seeking.

Hi, I'm Luke Edinburgh, and I've called the Hautes-Pyrénées home for the past 10 years. Living here has given me an intimate knowledge of these mountains, their roads, and their cycling culture. I've ridden these routes countless times, discovering the quiet roads, the hidden climbs, and the perfect combinations that create unforgettable cycling experiences.
